Niko Efstathiou

Niko Efstathiou is Editor-in-Chief of WIRED Greece, where he leads the launch of the iconic global brand in Greece in partnership with Conde Nast. He is a best-selling author and a former fellow of the Reuters Institute at Oxford University and the Google News Lab.

His work has been featured on the BBC, The New York Times, Al Jazeera, and NBC News. Niko previously served as Managing Editor at LiFO and Kathimerini, and is an alumnus of Yale University and Columbia University. Niko also worked as Communications Officer for the WHO at the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic and Editorial Director of REBORRN, a boutique consulting firm, working with clients such as The Coca-Cola Company, Phillip Moris International, PwC.

He has presented and moderated conversations at international forums including Greek House Davos at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting, TEDxAthens, the GenAI Summit and the Athens Democracy Forum.
